I had a bit of a dry spell...buuuuuut tons of projects for you to see!!!

So everyone....I have been out of touch lately, and had a crafting dry spell....more or less...STUCK IN A HUUUUUUUUGE RUT! So recently, I did some holiday blog hops...saw tons of awesome things. Check out the people I follow and you will probably be able to find some nice inspirational ideas!! One inspirational idea I got was doing coasters. I went to my local hardware store (the one that usually has just about everything. Well they didn't have coaster size tile so we had to deal with hot plate sized tiles. Fine by us, it would be a little bit bigger than coasters, and each person would get one, for a hot plate or decoration.  So here it is (and I have labled each one as far as who made it since my friend and I made a bunch together (well 8 of them).

My favorite of them all!!!  I made this one second.....
Sooo...then I had to do something (like I do every year) for school pictures for family.  I picked up these frames from the dollar store.  Cut out Owen's name with my cricut.  Used the paper inside to mat his picture.  framed it all up distressed the wood on the frame some and it was good to go...each one is a little different just like each set of Great Grandparents these ones will go to!!

This one is one of the pictures for the Grandparents.
This is the other one....came out extremely similar...I just made some distressing changes between the both of them.  I really wanted to use stickles really bad buuuuuuuuuuuut I am sure that would have made a boy frame turn pretty girlie quick like!

So, to say there are a couple of quick simple (inexpensive) gift ideas that I am pretty sure people will love and cherish since they are homemade and from the hart-makes me happy.
One last project I have worked on for Owen's teacher came out really cute!
This was pre- i*Rock.  :)
This is post i*Rock.  I rather have the i*Rock's on it than not.  Came out sooooooo cute and I hope she likes it!!!

Well thats what I have for now!!!

I made a card and an explosion box, but they haven't had a photo shoot yet!  Those will come next!!

I have been M.I.A.

Hey everyone!!!

Sorry I have been so absent lately. As some of you know I had surgery. I went under the knife on 10/27 for gastric bypass surgery. I must say one of the best decisions of my life!!! Today is finally one of those days where I am feeling perky enough to hop online and catch up on EVERY THING....NOT just Facebook.

Just before I went on my little hiatus I started putting things together for my son's bday party that is on the 13th. My little guy turned 5 today... *sigh* Say it isn't so!! So for right now I have a picture of the invitations I made....

I'm making some cards now...so I'll have some more pictures later!!!

Not everything mostly everything is posted to my facebook page, which for personal reasons you have to be a friend to see everything. Other than that there is a group where a lot of it is posted, and I'll put the facebook link up for that in the near future (I'm at work with no access to fb, and having a brain fart cuz I haven't done much with my papercrafting fb page).

I haven't yet added any of the stuff I posted here, or on facebook. I'm gonna try to do that tomorrow since I'm off. My other big project is working on the RSVP cards for my friend Kye for her wedding. Evenutally when she gets the pictures done I can mess around with them and add the font/info to the card and make it something truely special and unique. I hope you all enjoy my post for today!!!

A paper bag video

This is not me in this video that is putting it together. I found this to be insperational, and I want to give it a try. Of course there are different types of albums that you can make the paper bag album. I am exploring options, but this is the first one I found (in English).

Enjoy!

DT challenge/call for Pink Cricut

Before I go to bed I decided I better submit my entry for Pink Cricut's design team. Here it is. The only thing that is left to imagine to is the stamp I got my inspiration from (I don't have any of the sets yet, cuz well I'm broke :() Any way just imagine that this has the "let it snow" stamp on the bottom, more towards the right of the card.

Good luck to all of the others who have created something!!!

Cricut Me That's challenge card :)

Abbie and Cricut Me That had a Friday challenge. The first friday of the month, ever month. Her challenge concept was girlfriends. So this weekend being at ooze ball my gypsy came in SUPER handy!!! Here's what I came up with! Hope you enjoy!

I love how the shoes came out. I used the gypsy wanderings for that and the gypsy fonts for "girlfriends". The blue card stock is by DCWV. all the rest of the paper and the ribbon was from the local dollar store. The gems I got in a pacage from jo ann fabrics. I love grab bag kits! It makes me find a use for the supplies!

Cards

I am going to post some cards that I have made recently. I figured it was about time to show my work via blog!

These cards are a set that I made for my mom to give to a couple of my younger brother's friends. They all graduated this year. My brothers friends mom gave my brother a 20 dollar bill and a 10 cent piece in his card for 2010! This is what I came up with for Ezra and Miles. Saranac Lake's school colors are Red and white. After I made these I found some better themed paper for the schools colors.

One of the other blogs there was a fruit challenge. Here is the card I made.

I used my cricut to make a really quick card using the Life is a Beach cartridge:

I also had an engagement card to send out to a friend for her engagement party I couldn't make.

For a birthday that same week I made a little girl some paper dolls. My boyfriend drew the faces on them. There was also a basket that I made with insperation from Sarah at Pink Cricut. If you get the chance visit her (www.pinkcricut.com). She's always up to something!

Thats all of them I am going to post for now. If you have me as a friend on facebook or you join my group. You can see more of my work there! :)
Thanks for looking!
